What’s the best digital media player for your hdtv?

August 1st, 2016

I recently purchased a Micca with an hdmi output that did not work on any tv in my house so I returned that and I am looking for advice on getting a new one. I download a lot of movies in different formats and I use to play them through my PS3 but that damn cinavia protection really got on my nerves. I really don’t care about what the player streams because I don’t use those services. I just want one that will allow me to watch from a hard drive in hd so does anyone have any suggestions?

I don’t have a dog in this but I believe he was referring to your previous recommendations for that product. Hey, may be the best thing since sliced bread, just sayin.
edit: my old standby response is stick a pc next to your HD flat pa, buy a cheap router, network the things, either wifi or cabled, connect to tv by hdmi and digital /optical via a home theater amp. that is the best I have ever come across, plus you have the internet on your tv with wireless keyboard and mouse.

sumvision player is the best solution. its also the best setup you could have really. i mainly watch remux, which has never been a problem. just check the new ones, as i’m not sure they bypass the protection.
