whats a good soldering gun

Oh man…I hate those things…There is nothing that beats a good old soldering Iron…300 Watts should do most jobs…

go to Radioshack and get one that has a stand( the coil wire that hold it with a METAL base NOT PLASTIC)
if i remeber right there around 30$

For most electronic jobs, 300W would be like hunting rabbits with a Sherman tank.
Soldering wire to connectors, use a 100-150 Watt gun.
Circiut board soldering use a ~20 Watt iron.
You can’t go wrong with the Weller brand name.

ok ok…it’s a typo…I mean 30 not 300…Instead of watching out for mistakes try to help the guy…
You haven’t said what you would be using it for so it is difficult making suggestions.
