What mouse to choose?
September 22nd, 2013
Mouses:
Razer mamba/Razer mamba 2012
Roccat Kone+
Logitech MX Performance
Meh Razor is so ridiculously overpriced just for the ‘name’ I mean its good equipment and all but not worth the extra just for a name, OCZ do some good ‘cheap’ remakes of the Razor brands try checking there stuff out it might save you a fair bit of dosh.
I would choose the old Quake 3 favourite IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0
Great big shape, great sensor, no skipping, no prediction, no gaming price tag, and drivers are superb. Something in most gaming mice seems to lack now a days.
I can vouch for the Logitech G9x.
The dpi is really high good for if you have multiple monitors, I usually use DPI between 1000-2000.
By far the best laser mouse I used, make sure you have good mouse pads for laser mice.
Your best bet is go to Microcenter, Frys, Bestbuy, whatever local place that sells mice and see yourself.
Logitech g35 is amazing
Simple:
Logitech MX 518
Advanced:
Razer Mamba 2012
i like the razer abyssus because i got it for £20..
I’d go for a logitech tbh
Razer is good, pricey but definitely worth getting if you’re into gaming.
No personal experience with Roccat but their seem pretty good too.
I had razer deathadder..
I had Logitech MX510…
I had Logitech MX518…
I had Logitech MX Performance…
Now i have Logitech G500 – and I’m happy with it
logitech ftw
lots of logitech users. Bot i think i will go with roccat kone+ is only around 90 us doller where i live.
Logitech g35 isn’t to bad. just make sure you get a Logitech. Its the best there is and the best there ever will be.
DELL ftw
Logitech MX 518 – Very Good VFM
Razer Mamba 2012 – Rich with several features but i think we hardly uses its features to full extent while gaming
From your options i’ll go for the Razer mamba 2012
All three suck. Crappy sensor/mcu and firmware and shoddy build quality.
I am using this one, i got it for free:
not a very good mouse, but very cool.
I also Recommend logitech,
They are better than razer imo
Try a Logitech G9X,
awesome mouse.
