What is the maximum update for windows 8.1 built number.

July 25th, 2016

Is it me or is the first update 1.7GB? I just got a replacement motherboard or exchange because the other one sucked but this motherboard is msi instead of gigabyte. I hope I don’t have the same problem. Isn’t 1.7GB a little to much for windows update for just 70 updates?
I have the build number display on the right bottom of my desktop. Is it suppose to be there? I never paid attention down there before.

As far as I remember the Windows 8 to 8.1 update came to around 0.8 gigs and there has been a few more since so I assume the 1.7 is correct unless they have bundled some other stuff in there.
The latest DVD .iso’s for Windows 8.1 I have are …..
x86 – 6050710
x64 – 6054382
I get mine here …..

I have the full version windows 8.1 not windows 8 and not oem version either. Figured it out why the built number appeared because it seems it wasnt activated o.o.
