What is a good Mkv converter

I watch movies on my ps3 and was wondering a good Mkv converter
Since almost all the mf movies are in Mkv I see that I need to start downloading those
Btw does the media server play Mkv for the ps3?

i tried free make and it did a crappy job, it wasnt watchable on my ps3 media server
it was so choppy
have any of you guys tested it on the media server cuz thats where i watch mine

MKV2VOB to get MKV’s working on PS3 i use it almost daily.(Yes I stream vids from PC – > PS3)
if it crashes then you will need MKVmerge
