Warez Versions of Antivirus/Anti-malware Software?
August 2nd, 2016
Thanks.
I’d recommend that you keep using the free versions of either Avira or Avast – both offer decent protection
The license files in versions of AVs generally keep getting picked up with updates and you’ll have to keep going license-hunting to keep your AV from shutting on you – not worth the trouble in my opinion. Just stick with a decent free solution
You could also add Comodo Firewall to your current AV to give you an extra layer of protection
this is how i roll
i have eset endpoint security from eset.com and updating from one of servers. never had problems (3yrs running various eset’s apps and updating from same server), but you shouldn’t thrust to servers like that because they can send you fake update/malware/something else if they find exploit in application. afaik, it’s very hard to do, so i think i’m safe for very long time.
eset smart security v5.2.15.1 & box, mara- fix v1.6
