C:\Windows\System32\Sysprep\Cryptbase.dll
Is this important? If not I was just gonna delete it. It looks important since its actually in the System folder. But yeah if I do need to delete the cryptbase.dll file, is it possible to download another? And if so which do I need to download? I have a laptop with:
Windows 7 Starter
Intel(R) Atom CPU N270 @1.60 GHz
1 GB Ram
32 Bit Operating System
Need help soon, it is much appreciated.
have u scanned it
is there any sign of a virus on ur computer
if not and all is well with ur computer u could try backing the file up and then delete from ur system32 folder
but do that as a last resort tho
Upload the file to virustotal and give link here to results.
I would, but, it keeps saying I need permission. Im using an administrator account, and I tried changing the permissions required, but it’s still not letting me access it. Any suggestions?
can u scan the file
Which anti-virus are you using?
Try uploading it when you boot your computer in safe mod
(start->run->msconfig->Select Boot tab->Under boot Options->Safe boot->Networking->Restart)
Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool 2011
