Virtualbox help

Ok first off all sorry for my english .. ok i’m running ubuntu 10.04 on my laptop but i got a dual boot the reason is because off my iphone.. i want only linux on this laptop i think about installing virtual box with windows xp in it but the windows not recognizing usb or the ipod i google it an tried so much things and still not working can anyone here tell me what or how can i get this working i want to delete the windows partition

ok i tried it look a this
i installed the extension pack
The extension pack
Oracle VM VirtualBox Extension Pack
was installed successfully.
i’m getting this error but i add my user to the group
Failed to access the USB subsystem.
VirtualBox is not currently allowed to access USB devices. You can change this by adding your user to the ‘vboxusers’ group. Please see the user manual for a more detailed explanation.

This is a very stupid question but did you log out or restart your system after modifying the user group?

no it’s not stupid lol i got it working after i needed to log out i didn’t know
