Upload HD vids to youtube

Hi all.
I have some HD 720p clips i wanna upload to youtube but takes a lot of time.
Is there any software or tips i can to decrease the upload time ?
BTW the clips are recorded from my Canon SX 30is.

Decreased File Size == Decreased Quality
In most situations. Upload over night.

Get a faster internet connection

Try using Sony Vegas to edit the clips or something you might get smaller files.
