Unlock an LG GD510 mobile/cell phone

Hi all, wondering if theres a way i can unlock this phone to take a different service providers sim card, had a look round, but not ventured into this kind of area before and not entirely sure what im looking for, any help would be appreciated!

You generally need a code to unlock your phone, ring your phone supplier up (like AT&T / T-Mobile ect) and say your moving abroad and need to use the phone on another network, they will usually give you the code free of charge. If not your gonna have to shell out for an unlock.
