TV’s Without PC IN

August 3rd, 2016

Hi, my TV is half broken and I use for TV as well as a computer monitor. My main concern is I think I will go with a Samsung and all the newer models have no PC in. Yes I know you can use HDMI in, but with my current TV using a HDMI connection the screen dint fit in TV properly, while it does have a PC in which works perfectly. What are the advantages and disadvantages of PC in over HDMI, and does any one use a PC hooked up with HDMI successfully? Im looking to get a TV from a factory second shop to save a few bucks, and looking for something like this

HDMI is the way to go.
You can go into your computer/laptop property/setting and change the resolution. Also on your tv which you can change the “fit” You can expand or shrink etc. Sometime hooking them up to an tv you will get black bar. Your tv setting will fix this.
I use HDMI all the time from laptop/pc. to tv. Currently I am using an 50ft hdmi to my living room pc for movie

As said, set your PC to 1920 x 1080 @60Hz, if it supports that.
