Traveling from Chicago to Pueblo, Colorado

Hi guys, i have upcoming FAT visit at Chicago. After the FAT visit, i really want to to Pueblo, Colorado,USA. I would like to use public transport (preferable trains)
So I’m looking for guidance to go from Chicago to Pueblo using public transport. I’m from Malaysia but born and raised for 5 years in Pueblo.

Look for amtrak that would be the only train service I think between the 2 points. Not sure if it goes to Pueblo, Might have to get close and then maybe a bus or something else. Good luck!

1-Chicago to Denver 18-20 hours (train) 2-Denver, Colo to Pueblo. 2 1/2 hours (Bus)
Total trip, almost 23 hours
