Thrustmaster Ferrari 458 Italia Racing Wheel Problems

Hi all!
First off, we’re trying to play Need for Speed: Carbon with this wheel. Running Win 8.
It’s billed as an xbox 360 controller, but all indications (such as the official website) point to the fact that it can be used on Windows OS as well. The controller is recognized in control pa, and calibration through windows is possible. However, it does not work in the game itself. I tried connecting my wired xbox 360 controller and that one does work, menu navigation, driving etc. is fine. Any idea what the problem could be here?
I’ll give it a shot on my computer (Win 7) with a game that I know has 360 controller support and update you on my findings.

Update: wheel works perfectly with Nascar Thunder 2003 on Win 8…

Yeah thanks! Tried the relevant drivers but without luck! Anyway, it seems like Carbon is the only game for which it doesn’t work. Tried a more recent NFS and it works like a charm. Problem solved!
