Thomas Cook – WiFi – Phones… some other questions…

Ok, im going to Olu deniz in turkey on Thursday at 7am ( ) and im traveling with Thomas Cook, i wish to know if they Have WiFi on Thomas Cook aircraft as im taking my Ipod touch (something to entertain me during the 4.5 hour flight)
Although i know that you are NOT allowed phones ON at all in flight mode or not, this rises the question what the f would phone companys put flight mode on phones when you can not use them (at all) when flying… seems sorta pointless…

No they won’t have wi-fi on the plane (not sure if thats even possible)
Flight mode on the phones is if you want to listen to your music or take pictures etc just without an incoming/outgoing signal which may interfere with the aircrafts equipment.

It is possable (some airlines have WiFi)

I know thats why its there but i dont understand y it has it if you are not allowed to use it during flights…
