I am getting this message on my HDD, plz advise …what I can do now to save this folder ..??

Answer #1
When did the error occur? What did you change? More info
Answer #2
if its a usb device then its corrupted. Formatting fixes the problem but try to copy out what you can to another location, corrupted files are usually irreplacable so only the ones that still work fine can be copied out. Similar applies to hdd’s
Answer #3
Like it says. It’s corrupted. You can try some disk utils, but they might not work. I had those errors on a HD just recently, some ISO’s I had saved there were unreadable. I had to redownload them, could not get those folders working with any tools I tried. Had to toss the disk, most likely some physical errors on it. Even HDD Regenerator could not see any bad sectors on it, so it was something more serious.

Answer #5
Chill-out man, first answer our questions, otherwise we can’t help at all.
Answer #6
I recommend running the HDD Regenerator that is found on HIREN’S BOOT CD. It scans and fixes bad sectors, which MIGHT be the cause.

i took out this HDD yesterday & transferred data in another PC. Today, I installed it back & now when I tried to access this folder, it gives me this error
Answer #8
So you screwed up in some way or another mate. Sounds like you may of physically damaged it. Not a smart idea to do that, instead backup data onto a external hard drive or dvds and transfer to other computers if you must. Not much you can really do about it now man.
Answer #9
Yeap, sounds like there is psychical damage on the disk, try backing up the files that are remaining and boot from Hiren’s BOOT CD. Run HDD Renegator to see if some errors could be filtered.
Answer #10
i tried check disk, NOW the complete FOLDER is removed by the system,…I made a search, all files are found & are playable well but the system has put them in a separate folder (HIDDEN) called found.000.
