“The exception unknown software exception….”

i want to uninstall avast antivirus but got error while uninstalling “The exception unknown software exception (0x0000417) occurred in the application” plz can anyone help me to get this out………… Sad(( i tried many options but failed to get rid of this ~love~

If you already tried that, don’t know.

Use Your Uninstaller it will remove all traces left after it detects that the avast uninstaller didn’t do it’s job. Alternatively you can access windows safe mode and remove the folder with avast it won’t be able to run then but u might get some nasty errors.

Now I like to install any registered & safe antivirus. May you recommend me the name or link…

Thanks again I use Webroot SecureAnywhere and Microsoft Security Essentials personally. There are plenty of topics here about the best antivirus to use though, just do a search

I installed Microsoft Security essentials and it’s works better than avast antivirus (activated 2038) and i also need internet antivirus that really catch viruses and scams. today you’ve seen a lot of antivirus with keys, registered and forever like so but they didn’t works but only shows “your system is secured” ;D thanks anyway
