Task bar wont appear if on google chrome

Hi, I always autohide my task bar at the bottom on my screen.
As you know, moving the mouse cursor to that area makes the task bar pop into view.
It works on everything but google chrome.
Its really annoying, I have to close the chrome window to access the task bar.
I’m running windows 7
And have searched google forums with no sucess.
Any clues?

Try applying a theme apparently this fixes the issue for some.
Menu > Settings > Appearance > Get theme

oh…. It doesnt work now. it worked fora few minutes only

try another theme and hopefully it will fix it
