If you have to jump through hoops (survey etc) don’t bother, look elsewhere.
Don’t bother as it’s more than likely fake. Try finding another host or ask in request topics.
amed thanks for the link but i tried all those methods and none of them worked for me
I downloaded a torrent that was 2.4 GB and I don’t want to have to redownload as i have limited bandwidth and slow speeds. in the readme file the guy wrote that I have to get the password for the rar file from that site because of the copyright policy issued lately he password protected his files. Is there any way to either download the password file OR somehow figure out the password for the rar file?
Thanks
You could use some brute force winrar password crackers. Of course, if it’s a very long password, it will take a very VERY long time to crack (depending on computer speed, possibly weeks), cause it basically tries every possible password combination. In short, password crackers aren’t very effective, and as mentioned above, anything that requires a survey, most likely won’t work any way.
You should take this as a learning experience instead
Well I can see the files inside and they are correct but I can’t view them without a password. I try a rar password recovery tool but it took 15 minutes just to try a password of length 3. Trying all the combinations for a password of longer length is just a waste of time and might as well look for a new download. Too bad they couldn’t provide the password in the readme file Oh well thanks for trying
Have you tried doing a google search alone these lines:
<full name> password
e.g.
abc.def.xyz.rar password
Thats why you should never download stuff that requires surveys to be filled in.
Cant you find an alternative link?
