Super LCD vs super amoled (plus)
December 8th, 2013
I know that the super amoled (plus) is better then the S lcd.
But is the difference really that noticable?
I’ve seen the the super amoled plus and it looked really nice but I didn’t have the chance to look at a S lcd screen.
I’m asking this because I’m looking for a new gsm and I want to know if there is allot of difference between these 2 types.
Grtz, Nin.
The difference wont be worth making you choice of device based on this.
What models are you looking at?
Currently I’m taking the HTC sensation XE and the Samsung Galaxy 2 into consideration. I really like the looks of the HTC but the fact that he has less ram than the SGS 2 is bothering me a bit. But the Samsung phones look a bit to plastic for me. But I’m looking to keep this phone for a while and not replace it within a year or so. So I’m looking for a pretty decent phone.
I’m a fan of the s2 myself and would choose that. I agree on the looks not being great. but its a awesome device.
I don’t think you would be unhappy with either though.

You must be kidding me. A super LCD looks like absolute trash compared to a super AMOLED. They look like crap even when compared to an IPS (like on the iPhone).

Personally, I think the Samsung Galaxy S2 is a better buy. It’s very lightweight, If your comparing the 1.2ghz Dual Core from Samsung to the HTC Sensation XE which has 1.5ghz, It’s not really that much of a difference, and you can always root for your phone and overclock very easily. Just my opinion though. I have always though of Samsung to be a better make.
Hmm, the Samsung has the upper hand then. Now it’s just the question if I would but the Samsung Galaxy S2 or wait for a new load of phones that is coming out soon..
