Stop from appearing on searchs

How do I prevent a file from appearing during searches?
ON my computer

On a rapidshare search engine? Make the file name numbers and put it on here only.

I thought he meant on his computer? Actually it would be cool if you could blacklist a folder so it couldn’t be searched for or in.

Well on is computer you just make it hidden. Right Click > Properties > [Y] Hidden.
[Y] = Ticked.

Doesn’t work mate. Even after hiding a folder, when I search for it from start menu, it appears! (I use VISTA)
