Spreadsheet on iPad 2

hi
anyone with ipad have an idea how i can create a spreadsheet calendar on ipad?
what i want is i have about 40 names on the left, top right will be weekly date till end of the year(like 1/1/2012 , 8/1/2012…). that’s it and the middle will just be able to tick or write in paid or not paid.
i did it on pc with excel but on ipad 2 since its mobile i think it will suit better but can’t find a better way to doit, i even bought bento thought it can do it but seems not.
any ideas appreciated
