speakers

August 5th, 2016

well i was recently told that i need to get speakers that come with their own amplifier cause my speakers don’t get loud through my motherboard port but then i plugged them in to my headphone port on my front pa and they were loud is there anyway that i can make the rear motherboard port as loud as the front pa port?

Not good to use your PC’s sound terminals for direct hearing. . . . It is all-to-easy to burn-out your sound-card or your motherboard audio terminals. . . . Better to use the PC’s sound output into some receiver or powered speakers, and control your volume from those. . . One should always try to keep the PC’s sound levels under one-third of max-output less you ultimately burn-out the PC’s transistors

This is what i have done. Sold my old Sound system (not the speakers). Took the Sony 300W speakers and bought an amplefier for it. Attached the amp to my comp, and the speaker to the amp.

you could go but a small 100w in-built amp speaker which you can get anywhere.
DONT TRUST ON THE MOTHER BOARD SOUND CARD UNLESS IT IS REALLLLYYYY GOOD!!!

+1 .. use amplified speakers or you could connect to an “Aux” input on a sound system … THis can be done by using an adaptor cable with a 3.5mm plug on one end and 2x RCA plugs on the other
