Some newbie Questions

I’m a newbie and have some basic (I think) questions. Actually I want a step toward warez and cracking. Less theoretical and more practical.
1. What is difference between Rip and retail file?
In my mind retail is the data or files that are as they are provided from seller. But rip I don’t understand.Also a word decoded is also used. Please elaborate.
2. What is Cracking?
I.E, What it is? how it works and with which field it relates to. I have read how to crack a filehosts accounts ( these works) , also find some link generating apps (but for me not a single one work). What strategies are behind this.
3. A personal type?
People share templates and graphics how they get benefited. For example, A person buy a template of $60 from templatemonster and share it on sharing sites. For example on warez-bb. And it got 1000 downloads from filesonic. Suppose 1000 earn him $4 he had also added it to 9 other sites and got 1000 per site. Its mean earning is $40 and actual price is $60. Isn’t this loose?
Also he didn’t get 1000 downloads from one site because not every popular site accept new editors. And someone how downloaded it from warez-bb (also editor on popular sites) can also share it faster than him and the person who share loose all his effort and money.
These are some current questions in my mind. Please Answer as deeper as you can.

Same. Is their any person. Who can give some good info on these. As searching take a lot of time. And now two days and I haven’t get a proper answer.
1. What is difference between Rip and retail file?
To keep it simple Retail means it is a FULL ISO, this means you get everything you are supposed to get when you purchase the game except the serial/key ofc lol. While RIP means that some multiplayer support or may be some videos (not gameplay) has been compressed/removed to reduce the overall size of the ISO file. Practically Retail is better than the RIP, as you get to enjoy the game fully. Plus RIP normally takes a huge amount of time to install, and sometimes they just don’t work :/
2. What is Cracking?
Cracking is the modification of software to remove certain features (software protection, copy protection, trial/demo version, serial number, hardware key, date checks, CD check or software annoyances like nag screens and adware) so that it can be used according to the desire of the cracker. Cracks is what allows us to use so many softwares for free.

In first I know understand the basic dif. but in second also the mini cracking applications I specified, Can you please give some info about this.
What about third?
People Don’t Actually Buy stuff.
I guess, folks from inside a site supply stuff to crackers / rippers.
Or rip and upload it for free.
