[SOLVED]Windows 8 crashes – Driver_irql_not_less_or_equal(netio.sys)

Hey guys,
When ever I start utorrent soon my lapop crashes with the following error :
Driver_irql_not_less_or_equal (netio.sys)
I had been using utorrent for 6 months and nothing used to happen. Suddenly i’m facing this problem.
Or is it some drivers that could be faulty ? Please help !

Suggests reinstalling the Nvidia drivers (do the advanced setup and do a clean install). The reason: another app replaced certain files that were caused the crash.

Where do I find these Nvidia drivers ? and how is related with utorrent ?

utorrent uses some strange code to display its window. Any program that has a window uses the video drivers actually.
I guess I should have asked first – why type of video card do you have? I assumed Nvidia.

Assuming you’re using the Radeon video card, you can get the latest drivers to reinstall at:

Top right of page you have to select the model etc

Did you reinstall the graphic drivers? I’m not sure which of the two cards you are using so I would do both just to make sure.

It’s related to your network adapter driver.. update ur LAN/Wireless driver and you’ll be fine..

Couldn’t find a solution. Did a factory reset and installed everyone all over again.
