[SOLVED]What does portable mean?

I am looking for both photoshop and indesign to download for a class i am taking. I was wondering what “portable” means, is it still the full program?\

Yes, it’s still the full program. The difference is portable application don have to install, u can run the program directly from your USB device or pen drive and off course from pc.

“Portable” basically means the program runs from it’s own folder,without being tied into the Windows Registry,which means you can copy it on a flash device and carry it with you.It’s great for a app like photoshop because you can work on any computer with it,and any new work is saved to the flash device,and that does away with the old “Sh*t,that templates on my office(or school,whatever)computer,I’m really effed now!”.And best of all,it fits right on your keychain.
