hi all is it safe to download stuff from this site from rapidshare,fillesonic,etc in canada, no issues?

Yes it’s safe to download from rapidshare/megaupload/fileserve/filesonic/mediafire/netload ect ect
Btw do u use a download manager to download from sites I said above
Btw say no to public trackers (torrents)

yes i dont use torrents, so it should be ok, cause im scared, dont want to get into trouble
i use idm to download stuff from rapidshare and all

Usually if something goes wrong, your ISP gives you a warning first. You should stay safe, just don’t use p2p.

Calm down, the governments knows that it’s impossible to stop all the pirating. If they do fine you, they’ll end up fining half the country.

I still use Torrents, Just to take the piss I’m leeching V for Vendetta off the Pirate bay. Cause I can’t be arsed to search single link with a descent file host. :L

the law in canada is to download for personal use only
so it is safe to download in canada
but if you sell or give away to someone it is against the law

Yep,I got a notice once but it happened while I was on vacation and I didn’t check my email at that time so wasn’t aware of it,But when
I came back,Man you wouldn’t believe the hell I went thru,It was a quiet night,I stepped outside to throw away the garbage,And
out of nowhere,I was grabbed by a couple of gorillas dressed all black and shoved into an SUV with the MU logo on it,It was
so scary man!,I had to promise em to never infringe copyright again,Pay a $1000 fine,And they forced me to watch B grade
pr0n on megavideo all night long!! When they finally let me go,I slept the whole day,Never gonna use their service again!!
