[SOLVED]How to fit xbox 360 game iso into Dual layer DVD?

November 16th, 2013

I wanted to download Call of Duty:MW3 for xbox 360. I found the iso size to be 8.14 gb but most dual layer DVDs available in the market can accommodate maximum of around 7.8 gb. My question is how can I able to write the iso onto the disc if there is not enough space.
Thanks.

You need a new drive….. the LiteOn IHAS124-19 24x Internal SATA DVD-SM Drive
Flashed to iXtreme BurnerMax custom firmware.
This will make it capable of burning a full 8.7GB XGD3 Xbox 360 ISO onto disc when used with Verbatim MKM001 or MKM003 DVD+R dual layer blanks.
Cheaper discs such as Aone will not work.

Actually a Dual Layer DVD has a capacity of 7.92 GB. You won’t be able to get the 8.14 GB of data onto the Disc. There are 9.4 GB DVD’s that are made by Verbatim and Panasonic which are double sided.

ignore what ed2010 said
weewinkie is right,
you need to buy one of the liteon ihas drives [must be model b drive] they are avaliable everywhere and are cheap under £20/$20. Then flash the drive with the f/w provided for burning and u can then burn new xbox 360 games[XGD3 format games]
Drives listed below-
Liteon iHAS124B = baseline model
Liteon iHAS-224B = 124 + LightScribe
Liteon iHAS-324B = 124 + SmartErase
Liteon iHAS-424B = 124 + LightScribe + SmartErase (or = 224 + SmartErase)
Liteon iHAS-524B = 124 + LabelTag + SmartErase
Liteon iHAS-624B = 124 + LabelTag + LightScribe + SmartErase (or = 524 + LightScribe)
any of those drives will work just make sure when u buy it that it has the B at the end.

There is a chance that you might have to take the Lite-On apart to verify which chipset its housing.
