[SOLVED] Windows xp help

Currently downloading it. It says
Then open the file “Oblivion.nfo” with Notepad. and that gives you a genuine serial number -Write it on a piece of paper and then restart your PC.
-Boot from CD.
-Install fresh copy of Windows XP. (Format your PC).
-Register with the key
It says register with the key. I think it means product key but were do i get it from?. Also i want to know how do you get the serial number from opening the file in notepad?

This is simple. Write the serial number down on a piece of paper by copying it from the Oblivion.nfo file. Install XP and then use the serial which you wrote down.

but i swear before you activate it using the serial number, they ask for the product key. How do i get the product key.

Get the serial from the NFO jus right click and open with notepad
Its very very simple mate

yes but the serial is to activate XP. But they ask for the product key. Is the product key and the serial the same

Lison mate…
Write down the serial on paper, Restart your computer and boot from the cd
Once you have installed it, You dont have to activate it as it is already activated
The product key and serial are the same…
If you dont know what you are doing get someone that knows
