(SOLVED) My new tablet dead…erased…please help

August 1st, 2016

I bought a 7inch Digiland Android quadcore dual processor tablet and lent it to my 22 year old son who erased the operating system and reloaded it and now it won’t boot or reload or anything…is there some trick to reviving it? Can you download the os online and re load with a desktop computer or something…I’m open to suggestions
Thank You

If it is not hard bricked, you can flash the firmware again. In order to be more helpful we need to know the model number. You should find everything by searching:”model number flash” or “model number stock firmware”. The second if you want to “reinstall” the OS it has just out of the factory.

DigiLand – 7″ Tablet – 8GB – Black
Model: DL718MSKU: 4306900
Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system
7″ WVGA LCD touch screen with 1024 x 600 resolution
8GB storage capacity
Quad core processor
Wi-Fi
Front and rear cameras
this is the tablet and whether I have to reinstall or not whatever works I would like to do…I think it’s what you say hard bricked, that’s why I wondered if you can download the os and install it by desktop computer connected to the tablet

Try connecting it to your computer. If the computer doesn’t detect it, even by installing the right drivers, then we can’t do anything about it. You have to try starting the tablet in the recovery mode. Usually you have to press and keep pressing the power button together with volume down or up. When you see activity on the screen after 5-10 seconds, you can release the power button and continue pressing the volume one. At this point you will see a menu and this means that we can do something about it. If nothing happens(you may need to slightly change the instructions I have given. I never tried this brand) then your only hope will be a repair center. The procedure your son did, made the warranty void. So you will have to pay for the reparations.
