How can I fix this? Everytime I try to boot up the computer I get a Blue Screen Of Death, I’ve read somewhere that repairing Windows 7 with the repair disc will fix it, but I downloaded my copy of windows 7 from here so I don’t have a boot disc. Is there any program which can substitute a real boot disc but will still fix my problem?
Thanks for any help, I really this need this fixed ASAP

Answer #1
have you tried booting win7 by a usb or external HDD mate?
Answer #2
put
eventvwr.msc
into the search box and check your error log for clues
Answer #3
If you are started this thread from your PC/laptop, I suppose you can still access the contents of your hard disk. So, why don’t you make a backup of your stuffs and re-install a fresh copy of Windows 7?

Hey man,
I don’t know how to do that
put
eventvwr.msc
into the search box and check your error log for clues

Done that, I think it’s like a kernel error or something. Check out this screenshot –

I just backed up my stuff last week and I really don’t have the time to reinstall because I just started school.
Answer #5
I understand. But it’s sometimes better to just re-install as it may be that Windows did not install properly and this can crash your system at any time and cause you to lose all your data. :S
And as it is, Windows 7 installs pretty fast. Under 30 minutes for me.
Answer #6
Hey man,
Thanks for replying, but I’m not going to re-install
I managed to catch the error, it was page_fault_in_nonpaged_area
Any ideas on how to fix this? I hate safe mode
Answer #7
Here ya go:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc957625.aspx
It lists a few problems that could lead to the error, as well as what you need to do to fix it (and explains what the error really means)
Technet FTW!.
Answer #8
Hey man,
Thanks for the link, but it mostly refers to Windows XP. How do I get a Windows 7 repair disc which can repair my OS before the computer boots up?
Answer #9
run a command promt (cmd.exe)
type
sdclt.exe
burn it, finished…
cheers
