Sims 3 RLD to RAZOR patch

Okay, so I installed Sims 3 to UK, and when I tried to apply the patch it said the game region wasn’t accepted or something. So I reinstalled it in US, said the same thing. I noticed that my Sims 3 version is 1.0.615.x, and all of the patches that I can find on this site upgrade it from 1.0.631.x. I was just wondering – if I download one of the big 6-part patches (which I have avoided so far as I don’t have a premium account on anything) that says it will go from 1.0.631.x to whatever will it work? And if not, is there a patch that upgrades from my version? Thanks.

Seeing as you installed the RELOADED version first, and then uninstalled it to go install Sims Razor1911, most likely there were registry entries still in there.
You can try re-installing your previous Sims 3 version, and running another program such as Your Uninstaller, to remove all the left behind files/registry entries.
You did have a firewall running to prevent it from connecting to the Internet, right?

I didn’t install Razor1911, as I said I don’t have a premium account for anything. It took me too long to download Reloaded, so I don’t want to download Razor on top of that.
Does this change your answer at all?

That 650Mb patch, that kyuubi92 links, seems to upgrades Reloaded version to Razor.
I’ve downloaded Reloaded version, and I have the speed up time issue, so I’ve downloaded that patch, that seems to have installed fine, but doesn’t change anything (the issue is still here). So, I really don’t know if that patch is real or not.
