Sims 2 – build tool Problem

Hi,
I have downloaded Sims 2, and it works fine… but i can’t build walls doors or something else…. Does someone know how to fix that Problem?

This is due to the non working crack I dont think there is a working crack yet for sims 2 well I cant find one. Try installing an Expansion Pack with a working crack and play the game using that.

I downloaded the Sims 2 from here

Worked fine and could build everything including walls

Sorry for the wait, this is the one I used
Setup Info
1. Install Sims2 do not replace the original “Sims2.exe”.
2. Uninstall CloneCD if it is installed, EA have blacklisted it.
3. Mount the “Sims2_1.mir” mini-image with Daemon Tools or other.
4. Start the game as normal, you can play sims without the CD and for those unable to use build mode can now build.

9090 so..i just mount the .mir…ok sure…..but then what? do i have to have the cd with the mounted .mir in the computer to play correctly?
