August 5th, 2016

I was wondering if I should leave my wireless router(D-Link DIR-615) on all night and my DSL Modem (Westell 6100f) its connected to verizon…should i KEEP IT ON ALL NIGHT…OR TURN IT OFF WHEN I DONT USE IT???
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

Answer #1
I never turn off my router/modem…couldn’t really be bothered.
Why do you want to switch it off anyway? If you’re looking to decrease your electricity costs then why not? Just switch it on the morning after
Don’t really see the point of you asking though :/

verizon...

probably cause your downloading too much. if you download too much from them they cut your internet randomly. annoying as ~ censored ~.
but its not gonna effect anything if you leave it on all night, except maybe heat up your router which could possibly be another reason why your internet cuts off.
but it wont hurt to turn it off either
Answer #8
Just keep it on, no hwarm will be done
