RsView 32 & rslogix 500 – traffic light help

Hello, i need help!
need to create a traffic light that works.
Please can someone help me with this, i don’t understand basic plc structure.
Want to create something like this :

but don’t know how to program in rsview 32 and rslogix 500

question: do i need a real plc to run the rsLogix and rsView 32? how to create simulated plc in this software?

you don’t need a PLC to do some practice on RsView 32 , you can run it on memory…when you creat your data tags creat them on the memory but you may need some knowledge on how to work on derived tags

I worked on plc and looking at your post and also the link you provided, yes you need to have a hardware (plc 5/**) and the program in able to create a traffic lights that works or simulate one. I watched the video and he is connected to a plc5/** thru a KT-1 card with the processor on a Remote Run mode. You can do all the programming like Input, Bit, Register, Timer and Output but you may not be able to simulate or run the program without the hardware, hope this helps.
