Which DVD Ripper/Decrypter/Copier can rip DVD Rentals? Or can majority of them do this. Let me know, thanks.

Most rippers out there can do it. I use DVD Shrink, or DVDFab Platinum if that doesn’t work.

Which program is best for Copying to the hard drive?
Programs I have are: Magic DVD Ripper/Copier, DVD Cloner V, 1Click DVD Copy Pro, DVD neXt Copy, DVD Decrypter.
I’m looking for a 100% quality copy. Absolutely no loss of quality. And also the option to copy just the main movie, to save space.

DVD Decrypter will copy the whole disc or just the main movie to your HDD. DVD Shrink will do the same, but shrink the movie to fit on a standard single-sided DVD.

there is no point saving them at 100% unless you have a dual layer dvd recorder

What if the point is to only watch them on PC’s. If they dont want to burn them onto disc and only keep them on PC, there is a point.

I’m only saving the main movie with a 0% compression rate for best quality. I don’t plan on converting them any time soon.

Download DVDShrink, Dvd Decrypter, and Ripit4me.
Using those 3 things you can just choose a directory to rip to, click a button, and sit back.

Thanks, I used DVD Decrypter and chose the main movie option. Went to play it and nothing happened. It only chooses 5 files when you pick the main movie option. I chose the main movie option with Magic DVD Copier, and it had 8 files, and less space.
Magic DVD Copier – 3.2gigs with 8 files
DVD Decrypt – 3.82gigs with 5 files
Do you have to manually add the other files to DVD Decrypt option panel, in order for it to play?

i dont think so but dvd decrypter is pretty old. you would be better with something new. as dvd decrypter wont work on some new dvds

what do u mean arnt DVD rental the same as regular DVDs i personally use DVDDecypter which i like.
EDIT: Umm yea the above post that quote i was just thinking i was just trying to rip Superbad and it ripped fine but when i went to play it. IT had no sound. I tried it again and the same thing i never thought that it had something to do with that program can someone direct me to the latest DVD Ripping/Decrypting technology

Use ImgBurn. I use it to rip the full .iso to my harddrive, then burn to a dvd. I sometimes prefer having the full DVD.

CloneDVD 4.1 looks good. From the website, I can’t tell if it lets you copy it to your hard drive. I’ll also try DVD Shrink.
1Click DVD Copy Pro = It doesn’t support encrypted movies like rentals.
