Reccommend a new laptop that can run this: (see thread)

December 28th, 2013

Hi
It maybe time i got myself a new laptop.
For one or two reasons.
first reason, I have a panasonic sd600 camcorder,
It shoots at 1080p 50 frames per sceond
So i need a computer that can handle that!
Not many can.
And while im at it, i see skyrim is coming out soon.
Perhaps a laptop that can handle that game on full setting also?
Thanks

First question, do you *have* to have a laptop? A desktop would be much more suited to gaming/rendering in terms of price and stability.
Answer #2
yea..
i will be travelling
unless of course i get a kit for a bare bones, and take it a aprt when i travel..lol
possible i guess
Answer #3
1 word, Alienware ^^
edit: actualy for the recording part maybe a vaio V series would be better ? check them out
Answer #4
cool
im checking them out
but wouldnt know what one i would need.
one that can run 1080p at 50 frames per second
as i say
and possibly the maxed out skyrim
Answer #5
oh right
well go to alienware and check out 17′ series and customize it yourself to run at 50fps.. i misunderstood what you said, nvm the vaio it sucks
Answer #6
lol
thanks
but sorry, i dont know what setting smoothly would run 50fps at 1080p
it just has different proceseors to choose ect
i wouldnt know
kind of why i posted in here

are u able to see this?^^ should say close to 3k $
it even has 3d view:P , alienware is your best choice but u gotta customize a laptop with some1 you know(that knows some basic stuff:P) ^^
Answer #8
theres nothing on that page link you sent mate
by the way.. if its $ 3k.. hmm
i may have to put it on ice for a while.. an eternity
lol
Answer #9
their prices range from 1.2k(which sould play skyrim on high) up to 3k which should play 3 skyrims on maxed out gfx ,you can even give them a call to help you make a laptop suited to your needs, now if u wanna ditch alienware and go for something else… well it depends on where you’re from
Answer #10
i’m in the uk..
i was hoping i wouldnt have to spend over £400 lol
pretty naive by the look of it.
These gaming laptops are darn pricey.. considering the price of ps3’s etc..
hmm
Answer #11
with £400 you should be happy if the installation completes you could possibly get with 800 that could run it on highish …
Answer #12
lol
wow
i think i better wait until its out of date before i play it then lol
Answer #13
I think you should invest in a desktop PC , you might want to store your video on the laptop and edit it on the Desktop , otherwise with 400pound , I don’t think you’ll find a laptop powerful enough to do what you are seeking
Answer #14
Dell Studio 15z
Answer #15
yeah. Alienware
Answer #16
thanks for the heads up everyone..
the dell is certainly cheaper in some of its incarnations..
but still over my budget.
I may indeed just have to update the ol’ desktop
