RE-joinging hardrivers

morning guys, i bought a laptop, with a 250GB hardrive, but it comes with 2, 1 of 12GB, i want to delete (rejoin) that 1 to the big 1, and then split it into a bigger 1, so i ca store all my music and all the other stuff in it, any help , of how can i do this? thx

Acronis Disk Director in Hiren’s Boot CD can do it.

all u need to do is increase the size of the 12Gb partition …. Arconis Disk Director , or partition magic , or Casper , can do this ok … just be sure to back up anything on the 12Gb partition that u don’t want to lose … AND make sure u read all the documentation before you proceed..

yes you can shrink enlarge and mirge partitions but I would stay away from partition magic it is old and is known to produce lots of problems resulting in lost data

hey guys, i boot it, so i did what i was thinking i was doing right, but then.. in the process, it just never goes up.. i mean, i never starts, czu they ask u to do all the things, and when u close it, it should start, but then i click on start the only thing is just a windows that pops out, and tells u the progress of it, but after 10min,, there wasnt any progress, any reason for this?
