Hi i have a problem with rapidshare/flashget it seems to stop downloading halfway thru a download it says im downloading at 0.00kbs at say like 57%…and i dont know why? after about an hour of being paused it starts to work again…Im a premium account holder on rapidshare and iv been using flashget for a couple of years so i know ho it works etc and iv never come across this problem before only the last few movies that im trying to get hold of…iv noticed aswell when this happens ~ Dead file host ~ will not load up in my browser at all…Im in uk currently on virginmedia 20mb broadband (which is not capped or anything) if that helps

I was an avid user of flashget and it seems that all versions after 1.73 just suck! Even 1.73 had problems for me on win 7!! I finally ditched flashget and went with IDM… You should too.. Its just an overall better app and hasnt given me one problem yet! It just works (period)
Try it!
At the same time youre browser shouldnt croak just because flashget has.. That leads me to believe its youre connect! RS the only site that dunt work or does the browser just not connect to anything!

i have an RS account and i gave up using dloaders a year ago …
now i just copy and paste the file links into edit pad ,and then double click them all to be active … this way i can have up to 24 files all dloading at the same time ( not sequentially one after the other ) … which means i often dload an entire 8 x .rar files movie in under 15 minutes .. imho it’s worth trying … hope this helps

hmm i download from rapidshare with flashget all the time and dont have this problem…
you say ~ Dead file host ~ wont load? can you still open other websites? I’m pretty sure its the fault of your internet connection and not flashget
Answer #4
i can still open other sites its just rapidshare?? its very strange

I know what you mean. I had this problem but I wasn’t with Virgin media. Try not using Flashget and use something else.
Also go here and read to see if there are any solutions as this is also a virgin media problem.
