Question about proxy servers and iTunes…

Some content in itunes will sometimes be “unavailable in my country” (i’m in the US). Ive never used proxy servers before. My question is this:
Can i use a proxy server to make itunes think that i’m creating an account from outside the US (in the UK, for example), then proceed to purchase the content i mentioned above? And if successful in creating the account through a proxy server, will itunes still figure it out because of the CC info?

If you make the device connect to the proxy, then iTunes would treat you like you are from the proxy location. CC info would not be a problem. If you are in UK and use an USA card, you are still in the UK and so UK content would be displayed nonetheless.
