Do you wanna alter a person’s voice for TV/Radio purposes (Eyewitnesses of a crime telling their story) or for troll
reasons (Such as trying to make another person believe your of a different gender or impersonate someone else)?
i want it for anonimity reasons, mainly for skype but i want it to be professional like no extra noise and stuff like morphvox or software sh it

Maybe this is a board, but you are in the “Helpdesk” forum, not the “evidently very illegal” forum. There is a major difference between pirating files, and doing what it sounds like you wish to do and I for one would not like to assist you in doing such an illegal activity!
Unless you can explain what you want to use the software for, and justify it I don’t think you’re going to get much help here…

Sounds like you just need to try any software that you can get hold of and see which one is the best, but for technical reasons you’re never going to get away from that noise and robotic sound! Personally, I’d have the view that the most popular programs are probably popular because they are the best. Maybe you could write to the BBC and ask what they use in Panorama

What you’re asking for here is not really common and chances are members don’t have any suggestions for you for various reasons. It’s not unreasonable to expect a person to reveal his/her intentions when asking for help.
Especially when their asking for a voice morphing software (Which is more often than not, Used for bad purposes)
The OP has admitted he’s gonna use it for trolling, Which is not a full explanation, But does suggest he’s gonna use it to make others believe he’s someone else in one way or the other, And honestly, I’m not feeling comfortable with that at all!
A person with a conscience would like to know that his knowledge is being used for good purposes!

I never accused you of anything, I was just simply explaining my reluctance to help you which has now also been backed up by another member. Clearly explaining is one very important life skill you are not very practiced at. Even though this is a forum, and pirating is indeed illegal, there is a line between supporting certain activities here. If software and music and everything else here was reasonably priced and easy to access, I would have no problem paying for it… The point is, I do illegal things all the time, but trolling I regard as even worse. For all I know, I could fall victim of your silly and insensitive trolling. People like you (sound like) are the ones who cause innocent people to take their own lifes because someone thought it would be fun to troll them with abusive and degrading messages. We do care about what you want to use the program for, because there’s certain things we find unacceptable. Just like if you’re a pedophile ( I am not accusing you have anything, just an example ), you don’t survive in a normal prison.
I’m sure if everyone here had the cash to spare, we wouldn’t pirate but seeing as though everyone nowadays is out to make money and charge unreasonable prices, they deserve for their products to get pirated. The fact is, now that you’ve asked about a voice changer program here, it kind of is our business. You chose to disclose this information with us and ask us for help, so as far as I’m concerned you made it our business. And personally, as I’m sure you’ve guessed by now I feel very strongly about the subject as trolling, and whether you’re doing it to friends or not – it all has to start somewhere. The real trouble though, is where it ends – and that is why I will never support trolling!
PS I never said they would, but there’s no reason why they wouldn’t post here either. Heck, there might be one here now and we wouldn’t even know – I’m not saying it’s very likely at all though. Can you please explain why I am being naive? Perhaps over cautious, but not naive.

It’s not just a standalone app, It’s an app that alters your voice in one way or the other. It can
make you sound completely different, Older/younger, Or of a different gender, And judging by your previous posts, You are
clearly gonna use it to harass other people, Give us one good reason why we should condone this type
of behaviour! I just can’t think of any. Even if the people you wanna “troll” are indeed your friends as you claim, That is not a justification by any means, If anything, It’s more of a reason to treat em with respect! Your friends are people, Not toys you can play around with! Intentionally harassing/misleading others is just wrong on so many levels!
