I have a table with information that I have typed myself. I am trying to write text above the table but it won’t let me. The cursor does not even appear for me to click anything. I’ve moved the table up and down the page seeing if I can type anywhere, I can’t even type on the previous page and then shift it down because there’s still a huge space between the table and the text. The cursor does not appear so I naturally can’t type anything. I can type on other pages (I’m writing an assignment), anyone know what the hell is wrong? I’m using MW 2010 I believe.

Select the table > cut > write your text > paste table below text.
