problem with folder lock 7.1.7.

i downloaded the software folder lock version 7.1.7 from torrent .
it came with the key but it didnt work so i was using trial and i locked a folder with all my important contacts and data and then it got expired the folder was getting unlocked so i tried to uninstall and then reinstall it but after this it dosent even show the folder the software is still expired. using windows 7. please help

Get Slitaz (Live Linux CD)

Burn it to a disc using imgburn (use the write image file to disc option):

*If your FD contains any important data – Back it up first!*
Anyways, When done, Restart and enter BIOS, From there your gonna have to define
your DVD drive (or FD) as the first boot device, If you don’t see your FD on the list but
you have other USB options, Choose USB-HDD. Save & Exit when done. After Slitaz
has fully loaded, Double click on my documents, Then you should see your HDD on
the left side (it’d appear like 30GB File System and such and not by drive letters)
Anyways, Left click it to mount, Navigate to the particular folder and rename it (right click>rename or F2) unmount the partition when done (right click>unmount) and
restart (click on the power button on the top right corner, the rest is obvious)

Your gonna have to be WAY more specific than that if you want my help!
Were you able to find the folder via slitaz or not? Did you rename it?
When you used folder lock, You only locked the folder and did NOT encrypt it, Correct?

I have a similar problem , I downloaded it from here (.org) and as mentioned made a outbount rule in firewall to block a particular file from accessing internet which made it worked . But I forgot the master password. Is there any way to get my data back and I just locked the files not encrypted dem..thanx 4 help in advance…

Follow my advice above or uninstall FL. Should work either way.

Go to Newsoftwares.net and download version 7.1.8. Install and see if it gives you temporary, or full with acquired serial, access to your files.
