I have a belkin F5D7230-4. Would really love some help with this.
Thanks.
that’s weird, it “should” work… Try setting a port like 50000 on uTorrent, then apply that in your router configuration page (make sure if either are IDP or TCP, in my case it doesn’t matter… for some reason)
make sure the ports are forwarded to the correct IP, which is your LAN ip and not the external IP, common mistake if you ask me.

I tried changing the port, but it was exactly the same. Also, the website told me what my external ip was, and I made sure I didn’t enter that one in.
Chances are you did everything right and your still downloading slow.
Back when I used to torrent I had it setup with everything, correctly forwarded ports ect. But they were still slow 20kbs around on most downloads. A few weeks back I think I saw a tutorial or a program that really boosted the speeds to 100-200kbs, I don’t torrent anymore so I don’t know. Try searching here they are a lot of programs out, but I don’t know which ones work.

Well, I mean I don’t want to give up until it says I have forwarded them correctly. When my speeds are still crappy, then Ill give up.
You wouldn’t happen to remember the program or guide would you? D:

I am telling you, you did everything right, its I guess supposed to be slow. http://www.google.com/search?source=ig&hl=en&rlz=&=&q=How+to+increase+your+Utorrent+speed+by+80%25!&btnG=Google+Search
Try that ^^^^
A lot of people tryed it here (I havn’t).
This is a dead topic but I found it from here: http://www.google.com?t=1175224
A program? Never trust anything that says it will boost your download speed (specially if it’s a program)
Make sure your using your PC’s LAN IP, it should look something like 192.168.1.33 (that’s mine), simply open the command interface and type “ipconfig”
Set both UDP and TCP ports that are used in uTorrent to that IP in your router configuration ports, go to utorrent and do the checking and see if it works.
Maybe after you’ve done all that you could reboot your router or the PC.
EDIT: What kind of download speed do you get off rapidshare in premium mode?
Wahey. I acidently entered the wrong ip address in my options for my router. It now says that my ports have been forwarded. I’m gonna restart my computer, and see what the results are. Thanks for the help.
Also, when I download from premium, I get about 150kb -200kb.
