Pirated books for eReader
August 23rd, 2013
Im about to purchase a Kobo Touch eReader, as it supports pdf, mobi and epub formats. I was just wondering if I will be able to transfer pirated ebooks, say from wb onto the reader or not (as long as the eReader supports the pirated ebook’s format)?
Also, do you think that this would be a good eReader or not? Living in New Zealand, I am only really able to buy a Sony PRS-T1 Touch eReader or the Kindle Wi-Fi 6″ e-Reader or this Kobo Touch eReader (want to buy it offline).
Thanks for the help guys!
yes you can pirate ebooks. i have nook simple touch and its awesome. i can transfer books easily and has a micro sd card slot to add more storage. however be warned that no matter which one you get, the results for pdfs will be bad. because of the nature of pdfs it looks bad and hard to read/navigate on ereaders. if you want to read pdfs and epubs without greate battery life and eink screen i recomend a tablet or something like nook color.
Great advice from Saied45. This might be helpful as well:
I am by no means a pro, but some of my favorite and most successful searches for eBooks downloads have been:
– Search the book title + filesonic (or the name of another filesharing site)
– Search “New York Times bestseller” and you’ll get some great bundles of all the top ebooks at a specific time.
Hope that helps get you started.
