Photoshop – any advantage to using CC?
August 6th, 2016
I spotted a listing for CC here, so I downloaded it.
But the version seems a little complicated to set up. Is there any point to switching from CS6?
My opinion is NO. In fact I would avoid it for the main reason you cant live update. If you’re using the correct version of CS6 you can.
It’s just an interface upgrade to me. I found it annoying. I really can’t remember what it is that pee’d me off about it other than the fact they moved alot around, but there were quite a few things.
Yes there are reams of ne features like the enhanced liquefy tool.
The process of cracking it is easy its only complicated by people who suggest the per user xforce keygen.
1 Use CC to install it as a trial (no unofficial downloads needed)
2 Run photoshop and start the trial
3 Patch the dll with the Adobe Universal Patcher 1.5
4 Run photoshop and you are finished.
Cloned Cats?
Nah, stay away from “Adobe Creative Cloud” and anything else containing “Cloud” as long as you can, nomatter who offers.
Its a trap!
They start free and easy so you get used to it. Then, when everyone is settled with it and there is no way back to older versions (which they will make shure with many nasty tricks and hacks) they are going to charge you like befor but this time repetitive forever.
Practically you are going to buy a new CC, Windows 10 etc. again every year!
You dont pay, your Windows gona warn you it will stop working in 2 weeks. You go pay or go try Linux…
…your choice MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Thanks, guys. You’ve confirmed my gut feelings about the upgrade. Hey, I can’t handle CS6 properly, so CC would be another can of worms I don’t need.
Cheers
Well, you could always create an image of your PC and install it, see for yourself. If you dont like it, restore PC
Why try? Its a trap. Dont be silly.
Because people have the right to try things for themselves and make their own opinion rather than trust anything “others” have to say. Your conspiracy theories are just that, theories.
As a guy who gain money from image editing, yes, CC it is better than CS6, if you google a little you will find why, also, if you are happy with CS6, stay with that…
, can you suggest some websites where the differences between CS6 and CC are spelt out? Being only an amateur PS user, I doubt I’d need any more sophistication than CS6 but I’m curious as to what Adobe has offered in CC to make professionals switch.
Google Adobe CC vs Adobe CS6. Anyone that actually really knew would of listed the differences or pointed you in the right direction. The difference is minor IMHO. The integration of programs is a lot better where as they work together a lot better. So if your Photoshop jobs require illustrator or dreamweaver/muse then they may integrate easier, although I don’t have that issue with CS6, mine integrate and talk just fine without upgrading. If your into keeping up with the latest techniques in web design then there are some cheat tools in Muse and dreamweaver. The differences in Photoshop are minimal if you’re a beginner. Even adobe suggests not removing CS6 if you’re not sure as the CC programs will work with the CS6 programs without issue. In short, you can’t really do any medial tasks better with CS6 than you can with CC unless you rely on quicker processes to do so.
All my opinion.
I hear ya, .
Cheers
I work most with retouche part of Photoshop, so the clone and patch tool are better in CC, are faster and more intelligent blend with the texture, also the re-size give better result, the panning and zooming it is better, but if you have middle needs, you can try Gimp, it is good too…this is from my work experience, but as above said, google can give you better details about all change…
