PES 2012 Avatar Crash (for Mac!)

I downloaded PES 2012 a few days ago, everything works fine until it reaches the “create avatar” part at which point the game just quits without giving an explanation or anything. Its also important to point out that I have a MacBookPro 13″ from 2010, but with the newest OS (10.9 I believe). I obviously checked out google but all the solutions they are providing are made for Windows, so I was wondering if any of you could help me out
