Gparted will definitely do this, or you can also use the free EaseUS partition manager.
Answer #2
You can’t move a secondary partition over the primary partition…

your question is not clear. do you want to move your installations , software and such from your old system partition to the new system partition or do you just want changing how they lined up in the list under the my computer ?
if it is first , you cant do it via windows , you need to do it before system launches and it may cause problems.
if it is second , it can not be done like said since it requires changing drive letter of new system partition but you can try “sort by” options to put your new system partition whatever it is D E F , to the front by sorting by partition size, empty space or whatever it fits.

ah , simple standard copy/paste is the best and most reliable method for carrying your personal files between partitions or drives ; either for backing them up or restoring them you shouldnt have used a software for it at the first place.
since i dont know how paragon works , does it take its own special image format for the files you backup ? then paragon itself is the only way for restoring files from that image. i also didnt understand why do you check each single file among the contents of backup ? just copy paste to its new location , if there are same files from your previous attempt , you will be asked to overwrite them . just say “yes to all” and it is all done.
i said “yes to all” for overwriting in case if something got corrupted during your previous attempt, if you are sure about it didnt then you can say “yes to all” for skipping available same files.

heya ,
1.]
what happened was i wanted [by paragons instructions] copy c: partition to my 2tb drive i did that but actually need the c: partition to reside as the first partition as required by windows operating system so i wanted move it c partition to the beginning of the drive, which paragon doesn’t do.
2.]
when copying the directories [by windows method] i was checking the NEW Copies of directories/files and noticed that the directories of most were not copied they were empty directories? so don’t understand why only understanding is that it has taken me weeks to make sure i have copies of my files so i don’t loose them.
ok does it now make sense?
thanks!
