my laptop already installed with win 7.
right now, i want to install ubuntu 10.04 at the laptop
i can do that, right?? dual boot.
just wondering after i installed ubuntu can i removed it.

Make second partition and install ubuntu (if you don’t wan’t to do that on same drive).

You can dualboot it and also you can remove it….

it depends….dual booting on the same hard drive might require you to format your current partition cause a lot of lappys aren’t compatible with partitioning while there is data in it.

At the risk of pointing out the obvious…make sure you have backed up any important data before you start partitioning. If your copy of windows 7 is legit, take a note of the serial number and make sure you have a backup dvd if you need to re-install because accidents happen sometimes
