We have software here in the UK for downloading certain UK channels,
eg BBC iPlayer, which you can also stream from
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/
If you have a UK IP. You can always use a VPN to watch stuff from the BBC from other countries.

You can always use Expat Shield to watch BBC iPlayer and such from other Countries http://expatshield.com/ I got loads of bookmarked sites for streaming TV from other Countries on my home computer but at work now so I’ll post them later for you.
