No connections available on dell latitude after clean instal

November 2nd, 2013

I did a clean install of my pc (windows 7 ultimate) and my computer (Dell Latitude E6410) doesn’t find any connections, even with a cable. Bluetooth is impossible too.
I tried to install several drivers, however, one doesn’t work: WiMAX link 6250.
It refuses to install.
However, i tried several things, nothing seems to work. IPCONFIG says some ‘mediums’ aren’t connected and such.
Installed controlvault, multidevice, 825XX-gigabite,…
I have red about it online but nothing seems to work for me… Help plz!
PS: I also had this problem when i did a clean install of my dell XPS… I used a backup to evade the problem… but i don’t have a backup for this dell :/

if you done a clean install of windows 7 i would have downloaded all your drivers from dell, and it would have included a lan driver or network driver within it, so try that. you say you tried differant drivers and it did not work?? but you should always download your dell drivers first off when you do a clean install on any o.s
others may have differant views on this, but its what i would do!!

i downloaded all the drivers that are needed for internet on my other computer. I didn’t install anything else yet… Like i said, a clean install, only windows 7 is on it right now.
I’m a bit confused why it isn’t working

Dood, you need to go to the dell website, and download all your drives for that computer. Go to device manager and see which you need. You should start with the chipset drivers…
